I think being hasteful sometimes is a bad thing. Often it leads you to jump into conclusions and situationas you never wished you were in. Haix.

On today then, found this interesting word in the dictionary (i was browsing it for no apparent reason):
Intelligentsia.
It means people who are smart.

Incidently it makes up the sound intelligent-sia

I found that rather amusing.

And also today for PE was 2.4km cos we came down late.
Or some other reason.
So anyway i ran like one extra round without realising until i finished.
But i felt totally ok with the timing.

My 6 rounds timing was: 13:38

My 7 rounds timing was: 16:08

Seems like a big gap right. But i think its fairly good when i think back and remember that i use to take more that 16 min to run 6 rounds.

Yeah i feel dam screwed up that i can't think of anything to post already.
I just hope everything becomes all right when i wake up tomorrow.

If you haven't noticed just about yet, mornings here in our very own sunny island is decreasing moderately in temperature. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Good day today, i remember something swell happened but forgot what it is. Thian came to relieve us during V tan's lesson. Apparently she's sick. So Thian was like ok as in 'cos we're quiet and we got early recess. Yeah~ so early in the year got early recess liao.

Saw Manfred's haircut today. WICKED dude. Invasion of the shaolin monks.

Taught dino how to do the circle thing. He could understand after i had to refer back to the stuff i did 'cos i forgot. Not bad i can teach A' level maths.

Jason wear new specs today sia. The 'rainbow'(coined by me) specs. JY on zi lian spree. Liang stoning. Leonard rather dormant and that's good. Wei rong not stone. Dino laughing alot. Jia Hao himself. Kwan Hong talking and kp'ing alot. That's normal.

Ok seriously confused. Tired as well. Poly. JC. Argh.
Wa lieu whats wrong with singapore arh cashier also need at least graduate.

Sorry for not posting for the last few days. Caught up with a bunch of things.
I don't know if God's been trying to talk to me over the last 2 days. I'm very confused and frustrated today.

Still got that Goal card that i've yet to plan.

Haix. I troubled not over homework. Not over relationships. Not over anything.
I think there's something seriously wrong with me. ARGH.

I'm thinking 'cos common tests next week.

Chem die.
Physics die if no time.
Maths die cos of coord geomeotry.
English ok maybe won't die.
Chinese die if no time also.
History bo confidence.
S.S. Don't even need to say. No practice at all.
Geog. I think can make it lah.
P.E. sure can make it.
Only NAPFA. Cannot Pull-up. Yet.


Oh and hair growing back le. I think i'll tio caught for haircheck on week 7. Not for fringe, but for sides and back. Lol.
Best is never tio caught. I got plan to skip all hairchecks till june.
But i haven't thought how i wanted my hair to look like yet.

Shortcuts

Short post today.

i'm thinking how simple O' level english is.
No really, ok maybe its just the guidebook.

Notion for the day would be expression.
You know i think languages is a good form of expression.
Be it coarse, sophisticated or upper-lipped, its all forms of expression.
I think it'll be pretty hard to communicate without expressions.
Its like the whole world would be devoid of emotions.
That's real hard to imagine.
And sometimes don't take expressions too seriously.
Expressions come from oneself and need not be neccesarily accepted by others. So if someone suddenly cries out in anger, the person may not be you.
That's like assuming everyone's against you or something.

So anyway i think i'll like to end with this quote from Fort Minor's Remember the Name:

Emo Sphremo

Lately many people around me either feeling a tad' emo or real angry.
One thing i found most prevelant in most people blogs is this:
"Fcuking get lost if you hate me."
"I don't invite spammers."

Yeah sort of like that.
Well i don't really understand what kind of position their in but all i can say is
to let go of the petty things, the insignificant things that hound you, bother you but you stop to think and say "Hey, i can actually put this behind me and move on."

What's the big deal if spammers amuse themselves by maliciously spamming your tagboard, the worst they could do is to defame you or someone you know. If its someone you know, well i'd probably reconsider my friendship with that one person and if its someone unknown to you. Four words my friends - Just let it be.

Controversy only sparks if you respond to it.

There's still at least another 65 years to go. Don't waste your time and energy on one pathethic fool bent on ruining your life for if they devote fully everyday to ruin your day and you face them with great optimism, who's the one with the really sad life now?

And that xishi from that 7pm show is cute.

TODAYS A GOOD DAY.
No geog test.
No ting xie.
At least not yet.
But it takes alot off my chest.
And i know who to thank.

Start feeling lessons are boring le, except for social studies and history.
But then nid concentrate i also don't know how.
And lately my blog entries not in proper english.

I've thought how time passes sooo fast today.
Stuck in the chalet talking about BGR, CHMA 2006, Paint classroom.
Then jump.
Now mug, lessons, prison break.
I still remember how i used to think time passed slowly.
And how it used to be not enough for me.
But no point living in the past.
We have to move on.
Move Along.

O's level chinese this year. I thought all the while was higher chinese lah.
Lol.
Pressure.
Next year also.
Think got time play game like sec 2 life.
No way siah.
Old habits do remain.
But change is important.
And the only constant is change.

Where's Ham?

Ok i don't know but i think my brother's still looking for ham. That orange ham in my friendster display. So anyway i couldn't think of a better title.

Apparently today i feel sort of distracted.
This week was busy, well not that really. I think i had alot of time.
So its my fault for not updating! Sorry guys.

Gonzu's addictive. But i'm trying to hold it.
Common test 2 more weeks lah.

Hair slowly growing back liaos. Anyone who'd seen me by now should know. I don't like cut slope, cut fringe and leave a nerd-like hair style and that's what i decided 2 weeks ago. Or was it 3 weeks?

So anyway this week i see my finances fly in so suddenly and fly out just as fast.
Got my pay yay!
But the main purpose was to give to building fund, which i already did, also i needed to tithe part of the amount as well.
So all in all i really went back to where i started.
No bleach lighter (aw man!)

But i trust in the Lord, for if you hold your seed, you'll eventually eat it; but if you sow it, you will received blessings, ten-fold, twenty-fold, sixty-fold, a hundred-fold.

Ok gotta sleep now. Geog test tomorrow.

Skipping

Not pon class lah. Talking bout the physical activity.
Skipping can build leg muscles and help you grow TALLER.
So i'm going to buy skipping robe or find my old one.
Also i think it'll help me jump higher. Then can slam dunk primary school court yeah!

Today got compre test and i didn't know -.- being blur sometime not good.
Think tomorrow got summary test. Then friday got geog test. Alot sia.

Friday CG at timo's house yeahh.

And i got my pay today! Woot. But i don't know the amount correct mah must check.

Today play pool at school then YZ was like shouting and saying he's dam pro lah. So me and him team xk who's zai. Then like YZ 1 time score the black ball in. T_T
Then red ball don't like his face.
14 stripe and 12 stripe also don't like his face.
LOL.
Then he keep kp me for the last ball never score if not we win.
Bo bian so chao how to score!
No lah my angle wrong.
I also not like got pool table at home. Add that to my wishlist.

Delirious?

I haven't had a post title in mind. Random thinking and i came up with this title.
Its the name of a band. And the band rocks. Big time.

Sat.
Went to chem tuition in teh morning. Paris suddenly say want play LAN. Abit sudden lolx. In the end didn't go 'cos he was going bowling. Our table the most wet thanks to me haha.
Then went home and unexpectedly got Botak Jones to eat. Brukwrust hot dawg yay! But i can't eat the dawg as one 'cos of my braces =( nvm still tasted good and filling. =D

Then went for service. Dam unexpected that it was kind of empty at 4pm. Add the fact of guest speakers and DELIRIOUS? are going to be part of the service.
Everyone kena shock by my hair and rolland is teh trendsetter heh.
Nathan says he's tramatised lol. RJC girls say he looks "chio" chio. And he feels dam sad. I like lol.
Praise and worship rawked.
Delirious put up a good job and its the first time i seen them play.
Yao hui say they abit off-form.

Then bless timo after service.
Dino go buy their album+autograph.
Then later we go buy food that time, i add like dam lot chilli sauce on my chicken rice and like i was complaining how hot it was lol. Zi zuo zi shou.
Then played bridge/taiti.
And i go smudge the signature on dino phone and he dam pissed. Oops.

Sun.
Tuition in the morning 11am.
The teacher told me not expecting me i like "Yay! can go home?"
Lol cannot lah.
So like chang tu2 suo duan. Teach abit the quadratic equations.
Then got chinese tuition =.=
Too many le bah in 1 weekend.
But fast. Today 3.45pm end le suppose to end at 4 usually but i came early and teacher start early so never mind lo.

At home stone and do hw.
Watched "The Day After Tomorrow"
Seriously only the first half is worth watching lah.
The ending is like, ok, it leaves alot of questions unanswered.
Overall i think its pretty good considering i've watched it the 2nd time.
Only the first half though.
Rating? A generously and well-deserved 3/5 stars.

Skipped CCA orientation. Missed it aww. Nvm i don't mind not going also, 'cos i'll be dragged to photo boooth.

Then at pop i think woon can't find the book.
So all go home le.

Then dino,jason and me eat ice-cream outside bishan there de toilet. LOL.

Hmm haven't been blogging lately cos i was sort of lazy and tired haha.
Right on friday it was dam funny.
I got a new phone, and its not bought.

Not steal lah.
YZ want hand up zuo wen then forget he leave his phone with me.
Then when he zhao go see teacher i happy happy walk with jy and dino then forget.
Walk until jy house then rmb.
Somemore we walk round j8 plus buy longg john eat.
Dino say fast dun wan buy.
Fast my ass recess still buy kuay tiao lol.

So anyway i got a new phone, for 2 days. lol. N6250.

Does having a new and better phone part of pop culture?
I think so.

So what's pop culture?
Basically anything's that appeals to the masses and becomes a must-have or must-know in society today.

Art.
Advertisement.
Music.
Movies.

Examples of pop culture.

And so there's this need for this culture to exist.
Because there's a demand.

How does it affect us?
Way lots.

Emotions.
Attitude.

But it only affects if one has been under the influence for a long time.

So if you hear it once, it dosen't mean you're automatically "changed" by it.
Its how you interpret it that's important.

Imagine:
Should you listen to metal music once, will it affect you in any way?
Probably not.

But let's say a metal enthusiasist, one who has listened to metal for about half a year.
Do you think it'll have any impact on him/her?
I think so.
If's the music emo it'll probably affect his/her's fashion sense too.

So Pop Culture is a great source of influence.
You can learn something new everyday.

But do you choose to accept it?

I really tired. Can sleep.

First Day of School

Sounds cliche.
Yep today's the first day of sec 3.
And i'm on duty lah. Walao eh.

Take photos of the blessing of our school.
I must say the ArchBishop really looks kind of grand in his robe and all.
And i kind of went into all the off-limits places like principal office, meeting room haha.

Went for class(at last). Form teacher Ms Adeline Krishnan and Ms Valerie Tan.
HENG g_vin not my hist teacher.
Chinese teacher's kind of nice. The lady teacher then old old de. Duno her name still cos when during her period, we went on a tour throughout the whole school to look for special room 4.
And her lesson was suppose to be held in 3-6's classroom the whole time. =.=

Recess canteen's siao lah. I see the queue queue until the table there already no appetite liao. Went lounge with da wei, dino and woon.

Assembly i basically slept through half of it even though i was suppose to be on duty.
Daniel sort of covered everything so i just slack.
Totally never take any pictures. Haha.

CCA later. Robin's dam lame now.

I think i'm the only one in the school that came to school AND left for home without a bag.
