Broadcast Journalism

Attended a course today in school.

What is it on? What is it on?

Just look at the title.

We're so hounoured to have Marc as our instructor and he's amazing i tell you.
Some facts, well he's a NewZealander and he had worked with Mediacop for 5 years.
And i unsure of his age, ask him tomorrow haha.

Very lively.
And funny and local haha.

Local in the sense that he knows singlish.
Hahaha today he asked someone for the meaning of embarrassment, 'pai seh'.

Learnt a whole lot on journalism.
A whole lot.
For all those budding journalist-wannabes out there, pressure is something you've got to get used too.
Yes. Its a fact.

And i've been overwhelmed by the fact that blogging is a form of journalism too.
No wonder Henry has become rather serious about blogging.
Well its just my guess haha.

Made two videos today.
The first one was to make a news report, like those news report you see on tv.
But we only had to do voice overs, so no sitting at the table holding news in the hands.
No big plasma tv beside you.
No Cheryl Fox.

I duno why but seems suddenly she's a hot topic. Hahaha.

Yeah i kind of sound dead when reporting the news.
I thought John's voice blended well, Shan Wei's one too, just that his voice got kind of cut off at the end haha.

So i think i'm going to take blogging a lil' more serious now.
Its now longer just an online diary.
Its your connection to the world.

Sounds a lil' exaggerating but well if you've read the past two weeks(i think) or so, on Digital Times "Power to the Blogger." Yeah something like that.
Your little comments can change the world with every word you type.

Ok gotta go do research for tomorrow.
And i'm so in support of *Scape.

This is Melvin from iNews signing off. WTFFFF HAHAHA. (Only people who were there today will understand.)
