I think life would be rather dull if there wasn't a desire for anything. Desire grants you the hunger to pursue, to be in constant pursuit for the something which is lacking in your life.
Also a simple basic instinct, desire drives us forward.
However, desire is a double-edged sword.
I need not give further examples on how it is one.
I just think the desire is somehow linked to perfection.
So is perfection at the top of the list? Maybe but desire certainly one of the attributes that is needed to achieve perfection.
But i think there is no limit to perfection unless you really stop and say that this is perfect, and i have achieved this perfection and i am satisfied.
No one is ever satisfied even if they have reached their level of 'perfection'. Take gaming as an example. Why do people strive so hard to increase their levels drastically? Why aren't they always satisfied with the equipment they have and are always looking for the 'best' or the 'perfect' stats?
I think there is a point to be taken somewhere.
And they say 'nobody's perfect'.
How ironic is that. In my opinion that statement is more of a defensive one, it is one to boost one's morale and emotional state when the levels are lying low. I'm not saying its not a positive statement nor am i trying to cuss it off. I'm just saying that it is ironic to what i've mentioned above.
So my gaming friends. If you ever read this, take it to heart that true perfection comes when you realise that you are at the best of who you are and not what the stats of your atk, def, etc. are but you as a person and how much you've progressed.
That is perfection in all its true beauty.
