WOW i didn't know completing homework gave such a good sense of satisfaction.
Especially when it means completing a homework that you didn't thought you could do but actually can do it with a little help.
Eg. GRAPHS.
Haha.
Heymath is super good 'cos its concise and it has animations.
That's like super important for visually-lacking people.
Cos it makes all explanations super clear.
And chocolate is good to keep you awake.
Anyway e-learning next week.
Duno to PQ or dota during 'bio lesson'
Nothing else on my mind right now.
Song of the Day: Winter Love - BoA
BoA's hot.
Oh yes and
AMANDA GET WELL REAL SOON! :)

People like to do the twist and possess seemingly huge eyes whenver they take a picture of themselves.
Living in a world where half of the world demands derive from teenagers, its lead me to think there teens have a rather big say in the world now.
Half of the main TV viewers in the world are teenagers.
3/4 of the music industries mainly targets teens.
1/4 of the entire fashion industry taget audience are teens.
And now being young is a hip thing, no longer do teens feel the sense of powerlessness in the past.
Ok maybe except we still can't drink alchohol and drive.
Nothing up much today.
Played pool in school till about 5 then went home.
Yay yi feng. Haha.
My pool's sort of rusty now. Aiks.
Song of the Day: Dang Ni - Cyndi Wang
HAPPY BIRTHDAY YAN DENG!

Must get good digicam.
Sunday
Rather eventful in a small kind of way.
Today's service was great.
Liu Geng Hong came to our church and brought his band with him.
Darryn was like "Wah lao why Zhou Jie Lun never come also!"
Haha. Oh yes its a fact that Jay's accepted Christ.
So anyway there was this guitarist called Matt and i thought he looked alot like one of the actors in mediacorp.
And the other guitarist called Wayne had a really good voice.
The drummer's from Singapore and our church!
Haha.
And there's this lady who's supposedly the ms taiwan 1999 and holds some other various media-related jobs.
So after service, Darryn wanted to get pictures and 'post' on friendster or something so Timo and me followed along.
Huge crowd.
Darryn couldn't get any shots with his camera phone while queueing later on.
And we were just about 5 people away.
Then Liu Geng Hong and that taiwan lady went on stage and waved to us and went backstage.
"Wah Lao!"
Haha. Darryn very qik gek after that. Haha.
So close yet so far.
Today's message was good, Pastor covered up the last bit on the cutural mandate.
Went BK to eat later on.
I was complaining how stale the finger food tasted and how small the burgers were getting.
Then timo was going on his lame joke spree.
Darryn was going mad.
I was late for tuition.
So after eating, took mrt to bishan and everyone went seperate ways.
Not bad, late for 1 hour.
Shi call me in the middle of tuition for no reason =.=
But woke me up anyway while i was reading the cloze passage haha.
Then ,on my way to my aunt's house, i boarded this 162 bus.
Ok i thought i was somewhere else 'cos all the seats were like, sorry i don't have a good camera phone so i try to use words.
2 seats, side by side, circular cushion and placed in front of a table.
1 long white cushion seat and its placed horizontally not vertically like normal ones.
And then 6 comfort chairs followed by similar rows of white cushion seats.
Ok a photo would've been more appriorate here.
Guess harping on the fact i need a digicam. Haha.
Ate steamboat there.
Wahs. Both my cousin brought their gf there haha.
I didn't touch crab or prawn cos i was not in the mood to peel things.
Slack scoop and eat can liao.
Haha.
Steamboat like can't eat full, 'cos keep eating slowly.
I'd only stop 'cos if:
1)The soup turns horrible
2)There is hardly any nice liaoleft.
3)The cooker runs out of gas
Haha. Fun day.

Don't play with coke
Friday(a.k.a yesterday)<- this feels rather moronic
Cross-country at Turf City. The road looked, er short?
Haha so anyway had a real good time yesterday. During the run, nothing special happened.
Oh and i said to jia hao that we should try to take over other house de people.
Then runnning like 1/3 of the whole distance then met some like sec 1/2 noel and phillipe de and we run past.
Then jia hao say, "Ok catch up le."
Lol.
Then kept trying to push zi kai along to run.
Yay all my friends completed in time to score points for their house.
This year cross-country like dam short compared to last year Matrichie, next year 4.8km compeititive lah hor.
After that, went to eat with Darryn, Yan Deng and Woony.
Then after eating i went to Giant to buy drinks cos 7-eleven was super packed.
Bought miranda, peach tea and a bottle of coke. 500ml de.
Wanted to try the experiment hahaha.
Wanted to buy 1 roll of mentos as well. But Giant didn't sell single roll mentos.
When i went back, everyone ate finish liao so i say i wanted to try the experiment with fisherman's friend instead of mentos. See if work mah.
The result: X cannot.
After that, on our way to Giant, Mr Chew signalled to us to go to him and Woon was like, "Wah lao, everytime with Darryn dam suay one leh."
He asked us to help him push the van. LOL.
Then 'cos the van's motor died or something.
Then later we pushed it to the stretch of road and this uncle got in and tried to start the engine, then we like push, Push, PUSH, PUSH HARDER!
And then the engine roared miraciously and the van made a 180 degree turn back. Hahaha.
That was fun.
After that at Giant, bought 3 rolls of mentos and a 1.5 litre of coke and went back to our original spot.
I think this video should sum up our little experiment:
Rate it if you like haha.
Tells what coke is really made of.
Darryn said detergent. LOL.
Don't anyhow play arh, other country no coke to drink you here wasting it. Lol

Cross Country
Short post
Cross country tomorrow wahs. Jason got medical condition again so not taking part.
Tomorrow his birthday too hehex(YD-ish?).
Ok that laugh was damn wrong.
Anyway today had half day 'cos of O' level. Ice cream too.
Then Mrs Tan bought macs for those that did well for maths. Yay! Got a share.
After school, went kbox with Jason, Yong Jie, Wei Rong, Xing Yu, Jun Wei and had a really good time. Haha. Nothing obscene happened LoL.
Xing Yu the next Jay? Hahaha possible.
And Yong Jie and Wei Rong voices were good. I didn't know Yong Jie could sing so well haha. Jason also. I bo qi sing haha.
Oh and kbox all chinese song de lol.
After kbox, went orchard with Darryn, Wei Rong, Jun Wei and Yong Jie to go collect Wei Rong's phone.
In the end the counter person say cannot find the phone.
Then all of us waiting. Lol.
After play a while at the sony gallery haha.
Walked to orchard station where Jun Wei and Yong Jie went home, then the 3 of us decided to go Far East to shop for Jason's pressie.
Guess who we met on the way?
Miss Seah!
And she wore that starbucks coffee tee so its most prob that she just knocked off. She was on her way to give tuition, she told us.
And Darryn was asking wasn't she going to be an art teacher in a secondary school or something.
Lol.
At Far East crapped abit and walked a few times. Couldn't exactly find the correct present.
Many people there have dam long hair.
Saw one guy with hair that wei Rong said looked like cloud.
Then went Long Johns 'cos Darryn haven't ate.
After that PLANNED to buy ring for Jason and inscribe 'shuai' on the ring but the salesperson keep talking to us as if we buying for gal. So guess not.
After browsing a while more, finally found a nice-shirt. Bought it and zhao'ed.
Thought for today.
Some people say that 24 hours is never enough for them.
I was thinking, "If the world existed wherby there were longer hours in a day, everything now will just double."
I mean its true, if there were more hours, don't you think there will be longer working hours 'cos people wanna earn more money and longer school hours(NOO!!!) as well to cram more stuff into the mind of students.
Moreover its Singapore we're living in.
Seriously, its not about how little time you have, its how much you hope to accomplish and how you manage your time for it.
If you want to achieve so many things in life, but there is so little time, BE PRACTICAL.
You can't possibly achieve everything if you want that so many things.
Then it all boils down to how you prioritise your goals.
Ok i think it just became a long post so i'll stop haha.

There was one time when i stayed even longer, like almost 2 days.
That was during chalet and i seriously couldn't take it 'cos of the photo duty i had.
So anyway most of my time tonning was spent gaming.
I tried to do graphs, but seeing how much i had to erase here and there i just forgot about everything. Cannot sweep mah.
Collected 10+ ang paos so far.
Haben't count money yet. xD
Hope you all get more ang bao than me haha.

Happy Chinese New Year!
Yeah!! Its Chinese New Year everybody!
So Happy Chinese New Year! Year of the Pig!
But that dosen't mean you should slack like one, but be smart like one.
Pigs also clever one okay.
To all:
Collecting Ang Paos start today!
To those giving Ang Paos:
Give with a generous heart! :D
I got two already today(sat) at reunion dinner haha.
Sat.
Slack at home, sleep at around 2+,3+ am and woke up around 11 plus.
Did minor number of chores and went grandma house in the night to have reunion dinner.
Haha we were dam late. 8+ then reach.
Eat steamboat until like 10+ and i ate till the soup tasted, like over-boiled and very, uh, unappealing taste.
Fri.
Friday was a very fun day.
First had two lessons in the morning - History & Chem.
After Chem was suppose to help decorate the class mascot or something.
But i was browsing other classes and walking around the hallways looking at other classes and chatting with people haha.
Cody's, costume was dam, and i mean DAM wrong.
Split melon in half then put on the chest, female rat -_-||
Recess, whlie going up the stairs, tau-poked darryn on the 4th-5th floor of the stairs AGAIN but only like 2people. ._.
Then SERIOUSLY tau-poked deng at the corridor. After getting off darryn we went up the stairs and all run after him haha.
Like 5-6 people on him. xD
Then suppose to continue helping but guess where we were?
Talking in 3-3's classroom haha. And deng's super strong now with bulging triceps 0.o
Ask me arm-wrestle is sure lose haha.
After that had to go hall.
Woon on the way was talking and never see the latern decoration at the hall corridor, then turn and bang straight on onto the latern.
I mean that was a very good demonstration why there shouldn't be talking in the corridors.
In the hall, the whole event was screwed up.
SCTC shouted and screamed and clapped unnessacessarily. Like on purpose over-raction. Get what i mean haha.
Then later, chinese scholars went up to sing on stage, pardon me but they sounded dreadful. After that they threw chocalates off the stage, and instead of eating 'em, we threw them back towards the stage!
I mean like is that not chaotic enough, then Paris threw scrotch tape lah.
And in the middle of other performances, people were shooting cards.
Over my head, excuse the pun, calenders and year cards flew in a myriad fashions of differenting heights above the ground.
Only eye-catching thing was the lion dance performance. Liang back sure pain sia haha.
Songtime was another shouting session with over-dramatic shouts at certain parts of the chinese new year song, and deng, su yong and me decided to join in as well.
People kept turning round to look the whole time.
Then when the teachers' were invited to go on stage and sing, and they finished, the doors were opened and the whole CNY celebration ended with everyone rushing towards the exits. Then when we couldn't get out, robin was behind and he shouted "Ahh PUSH! PUSH!" And people like push and go backwards, push and go backwards. Dam riot-like haha.
Suddenly people started pushing backwards and the people around us like absorb the most force and some started falling down and i lost one of my shoe in the process.
Managed to get it back with the help of deng. Thanks :D
One poor guy got squashed in the process.
Then everyone started leaving by the side doors, so did the teachers.
The really cool thing was that no discipline teachers actually gave the order to leave the hall and everybody did anyway.
Hahaha.
So Happy Chinese New Year! Year of the Pig!

Happy Valentine's!
Its my 200th post! Happy Valentines' Day to all!
I've waited so long for this day
That i've almost forgot to say,
"I love you."
She barks,
She bites
and is one to behold a sight.
What can i say?
She's mine for a day.
I've got boxes of chocolates;
Bundles of roses;
And dozen of greeting cards;
But all i desire,
Is simply the key to your heart.
Beloved
Exceptional
More than a friend.
You are.
Vivacious
Amiable
Loving
Extraoridinary
Natural
Tender
Impressive
Nice
Everlasting

Come Expo Please!
Hey! You, yes YOU! Reading my blog now, i'm extending an invitation to you to come for service on 15/2 (Thurs) 5.30pm and 24/2 (Sat) 5.00pm at expo hall 8.
Yep you'll get an ang bao and its loaded with vouchers! Shopping vouchers etc.
Please try to come :D
I know the location's a lil' far but heh got ang bao before chinese new year not bad eh haha.
Moving On, Tomorrow's a rather special day for many people so i'd like to wish all lovebirds a Happy Valentine's Day!
Also going out to all my good pals and buddys - Amanda, Bryan, Darryn, Edmund, Ervin, Harrison Hua Peng, Hubert, Ivan, Jason, Jia Kiat, Jun Liang, Jun Yong, Kah Koon, Ken, Kenzo, Kwan Hong, Manfred, Micheal, Nathan, Paris, Qing Chang Samantha, Samuel, Shi Lin, Shih Qian, Timothy, Yan Deng, Yi Bin, Yin Zheng and everyone else i know.
Tomorrow got learning journey and i'm duty to follow sec 4s on their learning journey. I'm thinking many will pon lol.
Today went j8 after school with jason initially to buy presents - for his 2 pri school friends and yi bin. Met up with Kah Koon and found Harrison buying CNY shirts Haha.
Bumped into Paris, Chuen Chin and Alphi a couple of times while looking for the gifts. Proves j8's a really small place.
And today was VERY crowded lah. Like almost every shop got about 10 people browsing for things lah. Ok maybe every 'gift-able' shop. Its the first time that i felt j8 had been so crowded lah.
And that chocolate shop in front of Aussino made like tons of money today haha.
Super crowded there when we looked from the 4th floor.
Random topic, many people can't speak/understand dialect as i've noticed. I'm one too. I can only speak basic hokkien (Mainly swear words) and teochew and end up mixing both. I can understand both but cantonese and hainanese makes me blur.
Song of the Day: Mai Ya Tang - Jay Chou

Early Valentine Service?
Ok time to quickly post this asap before the next day.
Morning overslept and went late for training. Actually can say not late 'cos i first to arrive but i told vincent i'll be there at 8am but i reach there almost 9 am liao haha.
Today train erm team work and basic charging in and scoring.
Ok time to train footwork.
Left at about 10 and chionged to Bishan.
Tuition, late for about 15 min.
Paris slack never come. Jan oso cos she went school i heard.
Then rush home.
Chiong lunch and ate my cheng ting.
Eat half only 'cos no time then go out of house to bedok.
Went to look for the wet market Ho Yin was telling me about.
Found it and bought 3 roses.
Ok tip for all you guys who are buying roses for your girlfriends. BUY 1 WEEK BEFORE.
Aiyo 60 cents to $8 OMG??!?!
And the roses are for the sisters in my cell group so don't get me wrong here.
But the aunty was kind enough to charge me $3.
And i thought the wrapping was nice too.
She wrapped it like super fast and nice. Got skill sia.
No usher today 'cos trainer was full. Too many people.
Nooo!( insert Nathan 'no' groan )
Cannot complete my training and become official usher!
Oh then today to get seats we cheated abit, we didn't wait for back door to open but went in through the 'ministry' doors and cut to the hall haha.
And met Xiao Shi and she like training and i like sad cos i cannot do training also.
She was doing floor area ushering like lesson 1 'cos she got sore throat.
I think there's this really prevalent flu bug going around.
And Samantha walk every fast in the hall. I like stop to talk to Xiao Shi then i look around for her and suddenly disappear. Lol.
Today not alot of people came for service cos of many reasons. Wah Pang-Seh. Lol.
Service was really good.
The songs were really like 'power' songs.
And the sermon was like really impactful as well.
Pastor Kong sometimes preaches really impactful sermons till the extent there is little or no jokes but its ok.
Here's a really important quote:
"Culture is religion externalised."
I found it like Waaa-ish.
After sermon we had our mini-mini cell group meeting then we had our surprise for Sam! Actually it was for Celine as well but she didn't make it for service today because she had a match.
And Caleb dramatise the whole thing until i nearly burst out laughing in front of Sam's face lah. Its SUPER DRAMA lah. But managed to control lah eventually.
"You know ah this coming week right..."
"Ahuh"
"...Got this very important day lah..."
"Ahuh.(concerened look)"
"Then its like we like got very important thing lah..."
"Ahuh (looking very concerned)"
*Me trying not to laugh already*
"And its like really very important lah..."
"Ahuh.(Looks REALLY concerned)"
"And its like, WE WANNA GIVE YOU THIS PRESENT!"
And we could all tell she's semi shocked/happy. Hahaha i seriously had to control myself for laughing out loud 'cos i was the one holding it.
So later went to Changi for makan, and it was only 4 people 'cos Jerry and Rolland left us to attend to their seperate agendas.
After BS, played short game of bridge then kena chase away by food court manager hahaha.
Then Nathan had chocolate craving and we first went cocoa trees, then cold storage.
And MilkyBar is seriously super milk. I just had 1 small bar thanks to Nathan and its like flooded with milk lah.
Thanks to you all for not pang-seh'ing me haha.
And my ipod battery ran flat on the way home LOL.
Tonight the stars were still up in the sky when i thought they weren't. Yesterday too.
Now i know why people go star-gazing on summer nights.
Song of the Day: Crazy Son - Ronin
Quote of the day: "You are Supernaturally Natural and Naturally Supernatural." - Rev. Kong
Oh yess and this coming week is going to be a rather money tight week. 4 Birthdays and valentines and i owe 2 people presents cos i tio banlisted of sorts. lol.
Argh duno how but i shall have faith in Him :D

Animation
I think animation in Singapore is going to be a really good hit.
There is certainly room for animators and designers here in Singapore.
Local talent just never fails to surprise me everytime.
Here's something i found while browsing the net:
SAF Fantasy
Another really good one:
We Live In Singapura
Its the same song as the one in the Mr. Brown show Talking Cock in Parliment. Hossan Leong's song. Written by Edmund Tan.
I just think the animations are brillant.
And to boot, this guy's really talented in drawing manga. Have a look at his works.
Ok 2 more tests to go and i'm a lil' worried about chinese and that i might not finish it in time.
Maths like i more or less know.
Big Mac upsize waiting liao =D
Today assembly was dam funny. Not cause of the programme but 'cos of what happened.
Had some performance by ACT 3 and i find them rather appealing on the arts scene. But today the speakers brought in by them were a desperate effort in trying to convince students not to engage themselves in mindless chatter but failed miserably.
The speakers were too darn soft.
And today there were 2 really anti-climax shouts by this bunch of ex-sports class peeps.
The guy on stage was like,"...faster than bullet train; travelling faster than the mrt; its superman!"
And at this moment, someone said rather loudly till about 5 people radius around him started laughing. "Mr MUSCLE."
And then there was another time when the actor was performing cliche basketball verses. "He dribbles, he shoots."
Then came this line which someone shouted, "AIRBALL."
For you who don't know what it means. Air ball means that the basketball flies below the net and dosen't even touch the board or net.
Moments of magic if you can call it.Haha.
Song of the Day: We Live in Singapura! - Hossan Leong :D
Haha. No inspiration today either. Just a thought for a quote.
When everything's a mess, just hope for the best.

The Big Jump
Somehow i feel a lil' disorganised with this common test week.
I think the jump from sec 2 to 3 is quite a considerable gap.
Something like from primary 4 to 5/6.
Only maybe, a hundred-fold worse?
Everything i try to study just makes me blur lah.
Can't wait for weekends. Yeah.
Cell group and usher lesson 3.
I'm hoping one of the weekends i won't be on ministry duty so can bring friends.
Today went library with qian and mugged.
Well abit cos went to eat and the table dam wet, i didn't notice and put my wallet.
I think changing my wallet soon.
Then go library and walk up down look for table.
Decided for one at cafe there.
And her school like learning indices and i donno anything so can't help.
Cos mie school chionging E-maths then A-maths.
Then later had to leave to go orchard.
Fix braces. Lieu i think some people at orchard seriously trying to zao geng lah.
History and Physics tomorrow.
I think after tomorrow i won't be so tensed.
And more relaxed.
Actually i think after the common test i won't feel so tense.
Oh and a few people's birthday upcoming..
As well as hair check. Better pass sia.
My hair like not that long lah.
Seriously.
Song of the Day: Refuge - City Harvest Church
Today no inspiration 'cos i want sleep early :D
Sorry to those waiting.
Oh and drink more water. Helps keep emoism away :P

Wonder of Colours
Colours are simply amazing and if not for colours the world would be pretty dull.
But just check out what colours can actually do to affect our behaviour and emotions:
Pretty interesting don't you think?
For all you emo people out there, PURPLE is for you!
Just a random thought.
Culture is the shared beliefs of a particular group of people.
One day i'm going to break culture.
And in order to do so, i have to change the way people think about certain things.
That's not easy.
Frankly i think that's the hardest part.
I really need many answers and solutions to alot of people and to change their perspective.
But seek, and you shall find.
Ask and it shall be given.
Yep. One fine day.
Song of the Day: Salvation is Here - Hillsong
Poems there shall be for as long i shall have the inspiration.
And today i do have a lil' inspiration :D
Lit was the sky
Overstrung with stars.
Vagrant lights
Ever Shining.
Moonlight spread
Everywhere.
Forever i cherish
Over sensual experiences
Roving lovers
Endearing times
Vanish shall not
Everlasting the might be as
Reality
Won't you Love Me Forever?
But just check out what colours can actually do to affect our behaviour and emotions:
Color | Use for | |||||
Yellow | Stimulates the mind; energizes muscles; combats depression; creates lust for life.
Orange | Healthy lungs; good digestion; increases thyroid; heightens insight; stimulates creativity and enthusiasm.
Red | Brings warmth and energy; energizes the heart, organs, and circulation; increases sexual desire. (Note: Never use for cancer treatment, as red stimulates cell growth.)
Magenta | Strengthens your sense of life's purpose.
Pink | Heals grief and sadness; connects you to your emotions.
Green | Provides emotional and mental harmony and balance; heals kidneys, heart, and hormonal imbalances; harmonizes digestive tract; brings peace.
Blue | Reduces inflammation; relieves headaches; calms strong emotions; brings tranquility.
Purple | Heals melancholy; encourages spiritual insight and renewal; brings sleep; soothes stress; detoxifies the spirit
